Toni La Ree Bennett
CROW’S FEET
ARTIST STATEMENT
Indoors, I like photographing objects, like dolls or toy dinosaurs, that take on a life of their own when one's back is turned. Outdoors, I'm a city girl and like capturing interesting urban images. My current interest is abstracts (the more colorful the better) and surreal images. I'm a poet as well as a photographer and admire the “no ideas but in things” philosophy for my poetry and photography.
Toni La Ree Bennett is both a photographer and writer. Visual work has appeared in Women Arts Quarterly (cover), Cimarron Review (cover), Nassau Review (cover) Rappahannock Review, Glassworks, Gravel, Grief Diaries, Memoir, and Stickman Review. Her work has appeared in many exhibitions in the Seattle area and online.
