Split Rock Review Reading May 9th at Prøve Gallery

Split Rock Review will host a reading at Prøve Gallery in Duluth on May 9 at 7 p.m.

Featured readers include Karen Babine and Michelle Menting, along with other Split Rock Review contributors. 

The event is free and open to the public. Refreshments will be provided and book prizes will be given away! 

Karen Babine is the author of Water and What We Know: Following the Roots of a Northern Life (U of Minnesota Press, 2015). Her work has appeared in Ascent, River Teeth, North Dakota Quarterly, Fugue, and Sycamore Review. Karen is the editor of Assay: A Journal of Nonfiction Studies and an assistant professor of English at Concordia College-Moorhead. 

Michelle Menting is the author of Myth of Solitude (Imaginary Friend Press). Her work appears or is forthcoming in Harpur Palate, Southeast Review, Decomp Magazine, and Ocean State Review. Michelle completed her PhD at the University of Nebraska and lives and writes in the upper Great Lakes region.
